It is impossible to sum up 500 years of the life of the family of the winegrower Plou and Son. Only a book, or a novel, could talk about 5 centuries of characters, events, anecdotes, evolution, happy days and crises.

Winemakers from father to son since 1508, in the same small village on the banks of Loire, Chargé. The ancestors, and parents chose the most suitable grape varieties, on the most suitable plots, have defined the best growing conditions that are passed down from generation to generation the secret of each square of vine.

Why such a grape variety here? Why has there never been and there will never be a vine there? Without any writing, the cultivation of the vines is transmitted, the vineyard restructures. The estate has grown over the centuries, reaching today 75 hectares of vines, an important area proof of success, renowned and rewarding the work of this passionate family.
