This vineyard was truly shaped by the hand of man. The Romans did colossal work of ripping, planting, and building terraces to accommodate vines. These vines, planted on the right and left banks of the Rhône, give this region a unique character.
The wines are just as representative of this beauty. The Condrieu is an extraordinary white wine, made from the Viognier grape variety which delivers all its potential to this terroir. How not to mention the Côte Rôtie which is probably the most perfect expression of Syrah!
But, the star of the Rhône is undoubtedly, the Châteauneuf du Pape. The Rhône vineyards have an impressive diversity of soils. It is thanks to this diversity that many wines of Côtes du Rhône appellations have emerged!
