The Domaine Rayot vineyard is exclusively located in the Givry appellation. It represents 9 ha of which 1/3 is 1er Cru. Proximity is sought for greater efficiency in the work and in the care given to the vines. Through renewal and new plantings, the vineyard has been transformed to make way for new, more qualitative plots through the choice of less productive selections, and more homogeneous both in terms of their typicity and their better resistance to climatic hazards. The choice to no longer use weedkiller was made more than 15 years ago. Our conviction is to cultivate vines on living soil where fauna and flora coexist part of the year, without excessive competition for our vineyard. Our grapes are nourished by the benefits of a healthy soil, alive and without external nutritive contribution.
