Champagne Lallier Réserve "R.014". Degree: 12.5%. Vintage: NM. Appellation: Champagne. White colour. Everything about the 2014 harvest: The climate for 2014 has consequences for the vegetative cycle. Champagne goes through a mild, wet and frost-free winter (with an ideal water recharge), then through a dry and sunny spring. As a result, the vine buds very early (7-10 days ahead of the average). However, our plots of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are neither victims of spring frost nor hail. With this early bud break, we quickly speak of an exceptional harvest to be expected from the end of August! But the months of July and August disrupt the vineyard with cool and rainy days; as a result, the ripening of the grapes slows down, the bunches color gently. There is talk of postponing the harvest to mid-September. Overall, our Chardonnays and Pinots Noirs reach good maturity during our House harvest, from September 15 to 25. The clear wines are a very good omen, the draft and the fermentation are going perfectly, and after a few years of aging in our old vaulted cellars, the time has come to taste the R.014! Taste: Raw. Will accompany perfectly: Desserts. Aperitifs. Keeping: 5 years.
Contains Sulphites .

The first labels signed Lallier Champagne date back to 1906 with the founding of the house by René LALLIER (1861 - 1938), husband of the heir to a large Champagne family. Since that date, LALLIER has been firmly established in the heart of the village of Aÿ. The coat of arms that proudly adorns the labels symbolizes the historical roots of the Lallier name.

In 1996, René-James Lallier, grandson of the founder, gave new impetus to the brand. He undertook major modernization work on the production tool on the Aÿ site. He restored the cellars where LALLIER wines still age today for many years. In a search for qualitative excellence, he was accompanied by Francis Tribaut, who at that time combined an advisory activity with the best Champagne companies and management with his brother of the family estate in Romery.

In a relationship of trust and with the common desire to continue the efforts undertaken, René-James Lallier comes to an agreement with Francis Tribaut when it comes to selling his business. He dares to take up the challenge, already convinced of the potential of this already very beautiful brand. The years that followed would prove it right and, vintage after vintage, established the reputation of excellence of the prestigious LALLIER Champagne vintages.
